CellPoint launches Mobilibil.no!
CellPoint Connect AB (publ), launches today, www.mobilibil.no in co-operation with Norwegian
Trygg Trafikk. The website is an independent information- and campaign site called “Mobile
sense”.
The Mobile sense campaign informs about the use of hands free devices such as wireless
headsets when driving. In Norway it is forbidden to use a mobile phone while driving, unless such
a hands free device is used. Last year thousands of drivers were fined for not using the hands
free so the need of information is larger than ever.
CellPoint´s head of communication, Geir Langeland says: ”–With this, CellPoint takes a jointly responsible
by breaching for preventing activities. Together with Trygg Trafikk, as we generally support in their
preventing work for traffic safety, we also which to get the central government, Vegvesenet, and other
central organizations, e.g. the automobile industry where we already have an established contact, on
board.”
” – These organizations also have a need to get the message out from their point of view. Mobilibil.no will
help to promote the information centrally for the benefit of the motorists. The site can be used as a blog

information project “Common Mobile Sense when driving. The mobile phone steals concentration and
reduces the driving capacity. When using hands free device the distraction is less and this can lead to

Trygg Trafikk is a Norwegian member organization to the voluntary traffic safety workers and works as a link
between voluntary operators and the public authorities whom are in charge of traffic safety. Trygg Trafikk supports
the vision for the work for traffic safety in Norway, where no one should die or get seriously injured. This vision is in the “National action plan for traffic safety 2006-2015”. The formulation of the plan is done by Statens vegvesen,
Politidirektoratet and Trygg Trafikk on the assignment of Samferdeselsdepartementet. The action plan is the base for the work in traffic safety in Norway.
