CellPoint´s breakthrough in Asia!
CellPoint Connect AB (publ) has signed an agreement with a large Asian mobile operator for
delivery of almost 100 000 units of Flamingo Bluetooth headsets.
The mobile operator will take delivery of the Flamingo headsets over the course of 2008, with the value of
the total order amounting to more then SEK 30 million for CellPoint.
Due to the competitive reasons, the companies have chosen not to make official any further information
about the order until later this year. .
”We have focused on getting the Flamingo launched into the rapidly growing Asia market these past two
years and now these efforts are generating results.” says CellPoint’s CEO for Asia/Pacific, Benny Keng.
”This order, combined with the fact that we are currently experiencing a large amount of positive
international attention on all our new products, will accelerate the effect on our sales opportunities in the
Asia market. The three CES Awards that CellPoint has just received in Las Vegas has already been
acknowledged here in Asia. Our Scandinavian design and our support of popular devices such as iPhone
and iPod, suites the Asia market very well.” says Benny Keng.
