CellPoint Connect released from accusations of not being the rightful owner of the Flamingo Bluetooth Headset
The management of CellPoint Connect AB is pleased to announce that last year’s accusations against the company for not being the rightful owner of Flamingo – the World’s best Bluetooth mobile phone headset - will now end.
CellPoint Connect AB has entered into a written agreement with Mr. Michael Varming to settle any controversy on the rights to the headset. Mr. Varming is the inventor of the Flamingo headset and the patented EarClick-technology that makes the product unique.
Against payment in the form of shares in CellPoint Connect AB, the company acquired in August the company Blue Technologies ApS from Mr. Varming, hence achieving the rights to the Flamingo headset.
”Of course, I am most satisfied with the agreement, although all legal matters have been clearly on our side all along. With this agreement, a material considered risk factor is eliminated in the awareness of investors and the public opinion” says Michael Mathiesen, CEO of CellPoint Connect.
Mr. Michael Varming does not wish to comment on previous disputes but refers to the fact that, obviously, his advisors have not handled this issue particularly well.
